Sniper
Tower defense with a sniper rifle: hold the desert day after day
The screen is a hidden marksman's window: stickmen cross the desert in perspective to tear down the wall and the building you are defending. By day, you aim for the head and blow up rockets in flight; by night, you spend your bounties on walls, floors, hidden shooters and weapons, all the way up to the minigun. The game has 14 enemy types and 3 modular bosses that return every 10 days, with mutations and elites so it can go on forever. There are two styles to choose from: colorful desert, or blue ballpoint on graph paper.
What shines
- Fake 3D in Canvas 2D with no library: desert, corridor, wall and building projected in perspective from the sniper's window
- 14 enemies with distinct behaviors: shield bearers, dynamiters, medics, drones, arachnids, mortars, helicopters
- 3 modular bosses (the Walker whose legs you have to break, the Sandworm, the Arachnid Queen) that come back with one more rank and one more module each cycle
- Endless progression: 30-day cycles, 6 stackable mutations, golden elites, a cap of 150 enemies per day
- Two complete art directions produced by the same engine: a colorful western desert or a blue-pen sketch on paper
How to use it
Tap or click an enemy to shoot (headshots do ×2.5), tap a rocket to intercept it, hold down with automatic weapons; at night, buy from the shop. Play in landscape on a phone.
