Comment avoir un plancher dans l'espace
Two ways to recreate gravity on a spaceship: push or spin
A bilingual notebook-style page on the only two known ways to recreate gravity aboard a spaceship: accelerate continuously at 1 g, or turn the ship into a wheel. SVG diagrams, margin notes and trip tables (the Moon in 3 h 30 min, Mars in 2.1 days, Andromeda in 28.6 years on board) come with a slider that computes live the rotation needed and the comfort level for a given ring radius.
What shines
- Field-notebook art direction: cream paper, a margin ruled in red pencil, purple pen annotations, line-drawn SVG diagrams
- Rotating ring simulator: a radius slider gives the revolutions per minute for 1 g, the head-to-feet difference and a comfort verdict, and the wheel spins at the matching speed
- The price of a 1 g journey stated honestly: Andromeda in 28.6 years on board versus 2.5 million years on Earth
- Clear explanations of rapidity (why you never reach c) and of the Coriolis problem, with a diagram of the deflected ball
- Instant FR/EN toggle, a single file with no JavaScript dependencies
How to use it
Read from top to bottom, toggle EN/FR at the top right and drag the ring-radius slider
