Puits 3D
Stack falling tetracubes in 3D and learn to see in space
A well 5×5 cells wide and 12 levels deep where the eight tetracubes fall, three of them truly three-dimensional: the Corner and two screws, left and right. The game is meant to train spatial vision and stacks up aids to get there: a ghost piece, an X-ray that makes blocks hiding the piece transparent, a height map, a cutaway slider that hides the upper levels, and one color per level. Movement always follows the camera, on keyboard or touch.
What shines
- Tetris in true 3D (Three.js) with 8 tetracubes, including 3 non-planar ones (Corner, Left Screw, Right Screw) that force you to think in volume
- X-ray: a ray/box test from the camera makes the blocks hiding the active piece or its ghost transparent
- Camera-relative controls: "up" always moves the piece away from you, with hysteresis around 45° to avoid flip-flopping
- Cutaway mode (vertical slider, PgUp/PgDn) that hides the upper levels so you can see the holes
- Numbered height map as a minimap and one color per level (HSL gradient from blue to yellow) to read depth
How to use it
Arrow keys to move (relative to the camera), J/L to rotate, I/K to tilt, U/O to roll, Space to drop; on mobile, touch pad and drag to orbit around the well
