A weight-based pediatric dosing calculator for common medicines in Belgium, in French and Dutch. Enter the weight, choose the medicine and the bottle actually dispensed, and the tool gives the volume per dose rounded to the syringe's graduation, unfolds the calculation step by step and produces a printable sheet for parents. The 36 drug sheets were checked against the BAPCOC 2026 guide and the CBIP directory, and a public report documents every value, whether confirmed, corrected or unsourced.
What shines
- Automatically picks the most practical formulation: for 12 kg, the 250 mg/5 ml suspension (6.4 ml) rather than the 125 mg/5 ml one (12.8 ml)
- 5-step "Calculation details" with a reverse check in mg/kg/day
- Careful safeguards: adult dose ceiling, rounding to the syringe's actual graduation, fractions that can really be given (a capsule cannot be split)
- Typo-tolerant bilingual search: "oorontsteking" or "zyrtec" finds the right sheet
